Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

I started her career at GE where I completed both their entry-level and experienced leadership programs. While at GE, I focused on learning about how IT supported various business processes and took on roles of increasing responsibility. After GE, I went to Boston Scientific and held several IT leadership roles. From there, I went on to become the CIO for Haemonetics, and, over my tenure, drove a large IT Transformation aligned to an overall business transformation. I am currently the CIDO for Sensata Technologies, where I am continuing to drive IT transformation.

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

What is the key to success for someone just starting out as a CIO?

If I had to pick one, it would be to understand the business strategy and ensure that your IT priorities are aligned to it.

How do you measure success as a leader?

As a leader, success is measured by what business outcomes can be achieved collectively by the organization.
