JANUARY 9, 2023

Evanta, a Gartner Company's CHRO communities have officially completed their 2023 programs! In the past year, community members from the world’s leading organizations gathered for 67 programs across North America, Europe and Australia to connect with peers and explore how they can tackle their mission critical priorities together. Community members shared their experiences:

I very much appreciate the opportunity to get perspectives and information from other industry HR leaders.”

The programming and content were relevant, the length of sessions was just right, and I really liked the networking opportunities and peer to peer sessions… Just all round excellent.”

Excellent opportunity to network and strong content.”

This year, three themes guided the program agendas for Executive Summits, Town Halls and Inner Circle gatherings – Developing Empathetic Leaders for the New World of Work, Fostering Resiliency while Supporting the Workforce through Change, and Identifying, and Growing and Retaining Employees with the Skills the Business Requires.

Here’s a look back at some of our top-rated CHRO content in 2023:

Highly-Rated Presentations

Breakout: It’s Who We Are – Accountability as a Core Value
Speakers: Lynnette Heath, EVP & CHRO, nVent & Laura Brock, Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer, nVent

When it comes to DE&I and ESG priorities, laying a foundation of company values and strategic targets doesn’t necessarily guarantee progress. In this breakout session, Lynnette and Laura shared a case study on how they turned to management incentive and performance goals to weave accountability into their organizational culture.

Breakout: Navigating Economic Uncertainty
Speaker: Dr. Henry Siu, Ph.D., Professor, Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia

For this breakout at the Vancouver, BC summit, we asked Dr. Siu to help HR leaders better understand how to stay up to date on the dynamic landscape and talent implications of fluctuations in the global economy. Dr. Siu offered a unique line of sight into current market trends and their impact on the labor force.

Town Hall:  AI is Here — How Should HR Leaders Respond?
Generative AI is one of the hottest topics of 2023, and HR leaders are eager to understand both the opportunities and risks of this emerging technology. During this series of interactive, virtual sessions, CHROs in Evanta’s communities came together to discuss potential use cases, the impact on the workforce and ethical concerns of implementing AI in HR technology and processes.

Town Hall: Succession Planning When the Future is Foggy
In this age of unpredictability, identifying the next generation of leaders has never been more challenging. During this interactive town hall, CHROs from the New York Community gathered in small groups to address succession management in the current economic climate, how to identify and develop a diverse slate of successors, ways to bring a succession plan to execution and metrics to measure success.
