flexibility and support the workforce through unprecedented times. Cross-functional teams and nimble
strategies allow for unprecedented collaboration, with CHROs often at the helm as their organization
navigates the future of work.
Becoming the board's leader of human capital
Living through a global pandemic is a shared experience that has changed how many people, and
organizations look at how work is done, and what is possible moving forward. As the leader of human
capital, CHROs are thinking about talent and how work is done differently. Whether implementing a remote
or hybrid model, or faced with recruiting and engagement challenges, HR is at the helm of their
organization’s people strategy.
Transforming HR structure and strategy
Many companies have made changes to their reporting structure and talent strategy, either out of
necessity or opportunity. Leveraging technology, restructuring for efficiency, and updating how talent
is procured and where work can be done, have been monumental initiatives for HR leaders.
