Breakout Sessions

Team Structure & Reporting Lines – Show and Tell

Organisations Data Team operate differently response to different business needs. In this interactive session, CDAOs from different organisations will present short “board pitches” covering what their team structures & reporting lines, followed by an open discussion.

In this interactive session we will explore:

  • Who do you report to?
  • What does your team look like?
  • What happens in your business units compared to the center?

Exploring the CDAO's Role in ESG

There has been a sharp increase in the call for companies to be more transparent about their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance, particularly from investors, employees, and consumers. CDAOs play a key role in enabling organisations to report accurate ESG data and aiding their companies to track their progress in becoming more sustainable.

This session will question how ESG data is making a difference, and how different firms are using this data to position their sustainability targets and also improve the transparency of the data. ESG offers a huge opportunity for CDAOs to be front of mind and lead the charge on improving their companies' impact on the world.

Advancing the Data-Driven Enterprise

Gaps in the use of data and analytics grow wider as organisations continue to struggle with how to translate data insights into impact. Organisational culture, data literacy, effective data and analytics communication are essential for CDOs to support business leaders and their organisations to leverage the true value of information assets.

In this session, We’ll discuss:

  • Creating impactful data literacy trainings for the enterprise
  • Developing a strong data and analytics communications strategy
  • Utilising frameworks and common language around what it means to be data informed
