Today’s CDAOs are facing sky-high expectations to drive innovation, quantify ROI and optimize execution. However, according to the Gartner Chief Data Officer Agenda Survey for 2023, only 44% of CDAOs are effectively providing value to their organizations. This struggle may be attributed to the difficulty in quantifying the ROI of data and analytics and a lack of alignment between the CDAO's initiatives and the organization's strategic objectives. To overcome these challenges, CDAOs need to align D&A and AI with the organization's goals, develop a framework for measuring ROI and effectively communicate value to stakeholders across the business.

Topic 1: Align to the Business and Define ROI

  • What steps are you taking to tie D&A initiatives with overall business objectives?
  • How are you measuring and defining the ROI or financial value of D&A and AI?
  • How can the value of D&A and AI be linked with broader business and financial performance?

Topic 2: Engage Stakeholders and Communicate Value

  • How are you collaborating with and influencing other business leaders to drive your initiatives forward?
  • Have you been able to create a shared understanding of D&A and AI potential with key stakeholders?
  • How are you articulating the value proposition of D&A initiatives to other business leaders to secure buy-in?

6:45pm - 7:15pm  Networking Break

7:15pm - 8:30pm  Summary Discussion & Dinner

8:30pm - 9:30pm  Social Hour
