Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

After amazing experiences in Telecoms and Banking, I decided to join a terrific, leading international organization in the luxury goods sector with a truly Italian heritage and DNA!

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

I do what I say, and I say what I do. Transparency, respect and inclusion are my leading values and principles.

What is the greatest challenge CISOs face today, and how are you addressing it?

Customers' expectations and organizations are heavily influenced by the fast digital (re)evolution, and unfortunately, are proceeding at different paces. The challenge is rapidly adapting to the customer needs and respecting the value chain without increasing the risk. Management awareness is a key element to drive and adopt the right changes and help the C-suite to make data-driven decisions.

What is the key to success for someone just starting out as a CISO?

Understand the business, implement diagnostic processes to propose data-driven solutions, and do not let politics drive the organization.

How do you measure success as a leader?

Having a healthy environment and workplace where everybody can be themselves at their best is the key success factor for any leader.
