Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

It has been an evolving role over the years. Initially it was to help create synergies between the support arms, then evolved to allow the rapid growth and development in IT, to now strengthen the foundation to keep up with the IT velocity.

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

My core principles are vision and motivation. With a strategic view of the future articulated to the team, I have seen a team that is motivated to find opportunities or identify challenges in time to navigate us to goals. I remind my team of long term goals, celebrate the wins along the way, and provide them with autonomy to function and lead to repeated success.

With disruption being a key theme of the past few years, where do you see your role going in the next 1-2 years?

The next 1-2 years will be about maintaining stability with the changing economy. This includes protection and security, but still finding ways to support growth initiatives.

Tell us a few fun facts about yourself.

  1. I enjoy DIY projects (escaping from technology)
  2. I used to sell home and auto insurance
