After numerous Inner Circle dinners and Town Hall discussions, CIOs across Evanta’s international communities are getting ready to gather in person for their one-day Executive Summits. The Summits are for community members to connect and expand their networks, share best practices and key learnings and validate ideas and solutions on their top priorities.

Some of the themes that are emerging for CIOs include unlocking AI’s potential through trust and governance, creating alignment with the business, converging IT and digital transformation to increase efficiencies and improving resiliency to mitigate risk. The agendas, featuring sessions from community members, C-level practitioners and thought leaders, keep these themes and priorities at the forefront.

Here are seven sessions offering a glimpse of the great topics at their upcoming Executive Summits.

  1. Reshaping the Developer Experience with Backstage at the Nordic CIO & CISO Executive Summit

Spotify provides exceptional audio experiences to 602 million users, and continuing to innovate at the desired pace can cause chaos amongst their engineering team. Tyson Singer, Spotify’s Head of Technology and Platforms, will open the Nordic CIO & CISO Executive Summit  in Stockholm and share how their homegrown developer portal, Backstage, helped restore order by fixing the problem at the source: improving the everyday experience of developers.

  1. Empowering Leadership and Diverse Perspectives in Digital Transformation at the Italy CIO & CISO Executive Summit

To open the Italy CIO & CISO Community’s first-ever Executive Summit, Joanna Pamphilis, CDIO at Unicredit, will share how organisations can leverage the power of women in leadership to achieve sustainable digital transformation. 1. The Power of Vulnerable Leadership at the UK & Ireland CIO Executive Summit

Vulnerability in leadership is a key factor of delivering an inclusive and diverse workplace, and for the UK&I CIO community, Leadership and Influence was a highly ranked topic to discuss at their first half Summit. Daniele Fiandaca, an Inclusion & Diversity Specialist, will close the day and focus on why vulnerability sits at the heart of inclusive leadership and how CIOs can show vulnerability as a sign of courage rather than weakness.

  1. Connecting Fans with Football Through Digital and Data at the UK & Ireland CIO Executive Summit

How does professional sport embrace the ever-changing digital landscape? Craig Donald, CIO at The FA, is digitising participation in football across England, and radically transforming the world of professional football through their technology and data strategy. At the UK&I CIO Executive Summit in London, Craig will share the learnings and recommendations for his peers looking to make the most out of their technology and drive business collaboration and value.

  1. Assessing your Risk & Exposure – Lessons Learned from a Cybersecurity CIO at the UK & Ireland CIO Executive Summit

Another exciting story at the UK&I CIO Executive Summit will be from former CISO, now CIO at Petrofac, George Eapen. Titled, “Assessing your Risk & Exposure – Lessons Learned from a Cybersecurity CIO,” George will share how Petrofac has designed a new digital strategy with security in mind and collaborated with business units to create a cohesive IT partnership and manage risks, without using fear!

  1. Bridging the Gap Between IT, Security & Business at the Italy CIO & CISO Executive Summit

Join Gilberto Tosca, CTIO, and Daniele Dal Re, CISO, for their keynote address as they share how they successfully bridged the gap between IT, Security and the business at Gucci, one of the world’s most influential fashion houses. Gilberto and Daniele will delve into essential strategies and considerations necessary for increasing leadership buy-in for technology spend and the steps you can take to increase security awareness at board-level.

Along with the qualitative feedback we receive from community members, we also closely monitor the results of our annual Leadership Perspective Survey, in which members tell us their top priorities, challenges and opportunities. This data is invaluable as we plan timely and relevant content, and you can read the highlights from the survey results here
