Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
Driven by driving results and change, I have pursued strategy and data roles in the travel and media industries. The current role is a great opportunity to apply the transformation experience in the current role, i.e. in CPG.
What is one of your guiding leadership principles?
Think big, commit to action and build trust with teams.
With disruption being a key theme of the past year, where do you see your role as a CDAO going in the next 1-2 years?
CDAOs will need to increasingly build certainty in the business by developing tools, products and leadership. CDAOs will also need to dial-up proactive actions to identify opportunities for growth through data.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the role as a CDAO?
Invest in building trust through relationships would be my first piece of advice. Build consensus on the purpose of the team and the function, and finally, own the problem and structure solutions in a modular way.
