Coming Soon

Evanta is excited to offer in-person CISO Executive Summits in the second half of 2021. Evanta communities are uniquely positioned to return to in-person gatherings through our regional program model, which requires limited to no travel, and our invitation-only gatherings are smaller by design – intentionally limited to CISOs and heads of functions to facilitate true peer discussion, sharing and networking.

This year’s CISO Executive Summit agendas are driven by the priorities identified among the community. Each agenda is uniquely crafted ‘by CISOs, for CISOs,’ and will be available closer to the gathering. All topics and sessions will be inspired by the following themes.

Managing the risk created from a landscape of new core technologies

Security leaders must understand and navigate the risks of third-party technology, including how to discuss those points with the business at large. The trend of optimization and consolidation changes the conversation with third-parties — causing CISOs to ask harder questions to understand risk.

Accelerating security to match the pace of digital business initiatives

As new challenges continue to expand in this ongoing virtual climate, CISOs are charged with keeping up with the business’s evolving digital strategy. Having an early and ongoing “seat at the table” is key in developing a security strategy that keeps pace with the change.

Achieving sustainability for the CISO role without compromizing outcomes

CISOs are solution-minded leaders who face a common enemy — malicious actors. The stressors of the role are unique. The conversation is starting to shift towards long-term sustainability of the role and possibility of reclaiming a measure of work-life balance through new technologies, increased team engagement, and best practices.

Returning to in-person conferences

We are excited to welcome you back, in person, to Evanta gatherings.

As previously shared, Evanta will hold in-person programs only in locations that meet our stringent health and safety criteria to help ensure the well-being of our participants, partners, and our associates. These criteria include adhering to government, venue, and health agency guidelines in addition to taking all practical steps on-site.

Please note that our onsite planning will continue to evolve, and all measures will be subject to change to ensure the best and safest possible experience. Please see below (under ‘more information’) for our current approach and planned onsite safety measures.
