As data and analytics leaders further define the vision and scope of their roles, they are shifting their priorities toward value-based initiatives that help drive the business forward. CDOs at the front of their field successfully measure the business value of their data and information assets, routinely experiment with emerging technologies such as AI and ML, and build opportunistic data and analytics teams. Join this dinner discussion to take the next step in becoming a business-centric CDO.

Topic 1: Establishing a Data Strategy Built for the Future

  • What critical business problem(s) are you trying to solve with your data? How are you formally measuring business value from these data initiatives?
  • How are you prioritising your information management efforts? What business-centric metrics have you identified and articulated for your information assets?
  • How are you leveraging legacy data systems/tools to evolve your data strategy? What emerging digital trends and technologies are you using or want to experiment with and why (AI, ML, blockchain, etc.)?

Topic 2: Adopting a Strategic Orientation for Your Data and Analytics Teams

  • How have you defined your enterprise’s data-driven ambitions? What changes have you made to your governance program to achieve these?
  • How are you socialising the idea of data monetization (direct or indirect) with the business? How are you currently generating measurable economic benefits from your data and/or what do you plan to explore within the next two years?
  • How have you cultivated and organised talent on your team to effectively deliver against key business objectives?

Evanta cares about the health and safety of our community. Please review the following recommendations prior to attending the gathering.

Location

MORE INFORMATION

As previously shared, Evanta will hold in-person programs only in locations that meet our stringent health and safety criteria to help ensure the well-being of our participants, partners, and our associates. These criteria include adhering to government, venue, and health agency guidelines in addition to taking all practical steps on-site.

Please note that our onsite planning will continue to evolve, and all measures will be subject to change to ensure the best and safest possible experience. Please see below for our current approach and planned onsite safety measures.

What you can expect onsite

Evanta, with support and agreement from the host venue, are recommending that you be fully vaccinated and encourage all guests to continue to wear face coverings in all public spaces. We request that you stay home if you are not feeling well or believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, regardless of your vaccination status. If an attendee does not feel well on-site, we will work with the venue to coordinate additional health and safety support.

Upon arrival, the venue will request all guests to comply with a contactless temperature check before proceeding to the dinner. The NHS QR code will be displayed in the venue for any guests who wishes to check-in prior to the dinner.

Evanta will also implement the following measures at the conference:

  • Increased cleaning and sanitizing of the event space
  • Decreased capacity and minimized congestion where possible, including more space in aisleways
  • Touchless or reduced contact interactions throughout the program
