Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

I started my professional journey 20 years back as a business analyst with a purpose in mind, to solve business problems. I’m a strong believer in the mantra ‘Design Thinking – Use common Sense’ - driving true changes via personalized and intelligent experiences, optimized business process models with bold ideas that challenge the status quo. This philosophy led me to my current role as CIO.

I always had a passion to lead the organization with meaningful, purpose-led changes to drive growth. Throughout my career, I have consistently delivered transformative results by leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges.

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

People are the cornerstone of every organization, and I leave no stone unturned to ensure that I do my part in the career progression and motivation of every individual in my organization. Mentoring and connecting with people have broadened my horizons in many ways that I had never envisioned.

With disruption being a key theme of recent years, where do you see the CIO role going in the next 1-2 years?

Large- and long-term business transformation programs are not very common nowadays. In the next 1-2 years, due to the industry changing fast, I see us needing to adopt new technologies and focus on quick wins.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out as a CIO?

Focus on talent and people to start with. Get the business community on your side, as they will help for any investment decisions. Finally, user experience does matter even if it is small wins.

Tell us three fun facts about yourself.

I’m a soccer dad, love to travel, I’m a weekend cook.

What is the value of joining an Evanta community?
