After paying nearly €15M for a player who then became injured and unable to play, AC Milan decided they would never again make that mistake. This was the beginning of MilanLab. By measuring all aspects of an athlete’s health, the scientists at MilanLab were able to create a predictive model for determining an athlete’s propensity for injury using historical data collected through years of research.
