• Phil Agcaoili

  Phil Agcaoili has been an influential leader in the Information Security industry for over 19 years and is responsible for security and information risk management at Cox Communications.

  Previously, Acgaoili was responsible for Dell’s Global Information Security Assurance and Consulting organization, where he built one of the largest and most successful global application security development lifecycle programs in the world. He has also held roles as the Chief Security Architect at Scientific-Atlanta, a member of the Chief Technology office at Alcatel and as VeriSign’s first CISO. Agcaoili has been a trusted advisor in protecting and securely connecting many global companies to the Internet and in safeguarding the privacy data for millions of customers worldwide.

  Agcaoili won the 2010 Information Security Magazine ‘Security 7’ Award in telecommunications, the 2009 ‘Information Security Executive of the Year’ Award and was awarded the ‘Microsoft MVP in Security and in Enterprise Security’, and has been nominated for several other security awards numerous times. He is a co-founder of the Southern CISO Security Council, a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance, a co-chair for the 2010 Atlanta CISO Executive Summit. He participates in the Goldman Sachs CISO Council and the PwC CISO Council. Agcaoili holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has attended Georgia State University for an MBA in Computer Information Systems, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Certified Information Security Manager.

• Dr. Curtis A. Carver, Jr.

  Curtis A. Carver Jr. was appointed the Vice Chancellor and CIO of University System of Georgia on May 1, 2010. Prior to his appointment, he served at West Point in a number of positions including Vice Dean of Education, Vice Dean for Resources, Associate Dean for Academic Computing and Program Director. He taught in the computer science department starting as an instructor and culminating as a Professor of Computer Science in 2007. As a military officer, his career spanned 27 years with assignments in positions of increasing responsibility including Platoon Leader, Senior Signal Officer, Company Commander, Battalion Operations Officer, Division Deputy G6 and military mentor.

  Throughout his career, Dr. Carver has been engaged in the active leadership of military, academic, research and service organizations. He is a senior level member in the ACM and IEEE professional societies and continues to play an active role in shaping the national agenda in accreditation, technology and education.

  Dr. Carver’s research interests remain diverse with contributions in the fields of information assurance, adaptive hypermedia, computer science education, simulation and decision-support systems. He is the recipient of numerous national and international honors and awards for military, teaching and research excellence.

• Kyle Duke
  CISO HealthSpring, Inc.
  
  

   As the Information Security Officer for HealthSpring, Kyle Duke is responsible for leading information technology security and compliance efforts for HIPAA, SOX and PCI. In this role he is responsible for information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines to ensure the protection of the company’s information assets. Kyle and his team are responsible for identity and access management, IT compliance monitoring, risk assessment, IT security awareness, managing IT security related applications and other efforts to improve information security and ensure regulatory compliance.
   
  He is the first Information Security Officer at HealthSpring and has been responsible for developing the information security program and building the information security team.
   
  Prior to HealthSpring, Kyle was the Chief Technology Officer for Insight HealthCare Financial where he was responsible for leading all technology initiatives for the organization. Prior to Insight, he worked as a consultant for Frasier, Dean & Howard where he focused on assisting clients with SOX compliance projects. He also served as a Manager of Information Systems for CHD Meridian Healthcare and the Director of IT for Patterson School of Accounting, University of Mississippi.
   
  Kyle holds a BA in Computer Science from Maryville College and an MBA from Lipscomb University. He also studied accounting at the University of Mississippi. Kyle is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of ISACA, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and the Nashville Technology Council. Additionally, he serves as a board member for the Tennessee CISO Roundtable and was co-founder of Young Health Care Leaders now Leadership Healthcare.

• Ashley Ferguson

  Ashley Ferguson is a Certified Information Systems Auditor with controls compliance, IT audit, SAS 70, policy and procedure development, business continuity, disaster recovery, pandemic/workforce shortage planning and risk management experience in the fields of Information Technology, Financial Services, and Healthcare.

  Currently Ashley is the Manager, IT Risk Management at Energen Corporation. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Information Technology, Ashley is responsible for Information Technology Risk Management including IT Security, User Access Provisioning, Application Change Control, Quality Assurance, Data Loss Prevention, Data Privacy, SAP Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Risk Management and Compliance. In 2009, Ashley was hired by Energen Corporation to revitalize the Business Continuity program and ensure the Corporation’s pandemic preparedness. As a part of that effort, Ashley authored the Pandemic/Workforce Shortage Enterprise Response Plan for Energen Corporation.

  Previously, Ashley was the Vice President, Manager of Business Continuity at BBVA Compass responsible for the Business Continuity program including business continuity planning, business impact analysis, emergency event communications, hurricane and inclement weather event management, pandemic preparedness planning and life safety coordination for the bank. Prior to BBVA Compass, Ashley was an IT Auditor and Controls Specialist for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Birmingham, Alabama and Ernst & Young, LLP in Nashville, Tennessee.

  Ashley currently serves as the Secretary of the Board for the American Red Cross (Shelby County) and serves on the Alabama Department of Public Health Advisory Council where she is the only private sector council member. As a part of this council, Ashley advises the ADPH on pandemic and other public health related issues as they relate to the private and public industry. Ashley enjoys volunteering in her community and serving as a guest speaker/lecturer at various universities, conferences, and other events.

• Lynda Fleury

  Lynda Fleury is the Chief Information Security Officer for Unum and has been with the company since 1984. In this role she is responsible for the Enterprise Information Security & Risk Management organization. Her responsibilities include, IT Governance and compliance, information policy framework, Identity and Access Management , security incident response, network security and vulnerability management, risk assessments, application security architecture in additional to regulatory compliance as it relates to security.

  She also has been involved in company acquisitions and mergers that resulting in converting three disparate mainframe products into a single mainframe security platform.

  She has 29 years of experience in the technology and Information Security field having spent 9 years as an IT Audit and the last 20 years in various Information Security roles.

  Lynda holds a BS in Information Systems Management from University of New England and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.

  Lynda’s professional affiliations include the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Knowledge Connect Information Security Sharing Forum. She is also active in the Greater Atlanta CISO Roundtable sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is an active board member of the CSO Executive Advisory Program Board. She received the 2009 CSO Compass award in recognition of visionary leadership in the Security field. She also won the 2008 ISE Southeast Award (http://www.infosecaward.com/regional/southEast/) and was a 2005 ISE National Award Finalist. She has been asked to speak as an Industry Leader at the ISE Southeast Executive Forum, IDC-Security Forum in New York City and at the CSO Perspectives in Atlanta. She was a contributing author to “There’s A New Sheriff In Town” published by the Executive Alliance.

• Stanton Gatewood

  Stanton S. Gatewood serves as the Chief Information Security Officer of the University System of Georgia. He provides vision, leadership and oversight in developing, promulgating and implementing a System-wide information security and ePrivacy strategy for 35 institutions of higher education and the Georgia Public Library Services.

  Stanton has more than 30 years of experience in the security sector, and has worked in a leadership role for the past 20 years. Prior to joining the USG, he worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Georgia and University of Southern California where he built UGA’s and USC's enterprise-wide information security programs. Prior to joining USC, Stanton was employed by the AT&T Corporation, supporting the Federal Systems Division serving in strategic and leadership roles.

  Stanton is often referred to as the “InfoSec Evangelist” and is an educating, enlightening and empowering lecturer, researcher and industry veteran.

• Robert Lentz
  Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Cyber Security & CISO US Department of Defense
  
  

  Robert Lentz is the former Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense for Cyber, Identity and Information Assurance (CIIA) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Networks and Information Integration/CIO. Since 2000, he has served as the CISO for the Department of Defense (DoD), overseeing the department’s $3B Information Assurance & Cyber Security programs. He established the first comprehensive IA/Cyber Architecture and supply chain risk management strategy, implemented the world’s most robust Identity Management System, and played a key role in both the U.S. National Cyber Initiative and the following review.

  During his career, Lentz served as Chairman of the NSISC, was the principal DoD member of the Presidential Sub-Committee on National Security Systems, led the DoD IA Steering Council, and was the IA Domain Owner of the Global Information Grid Enterprise Information Management Mission Area. In 2009, he was awarded the DoD’s Medal for Distinguished Civilian Service and the Director, National Security Agency/Chief, Central Security Service Distinguished Service Medal. He also received the RSA award for Excellence in the Field of Security Practices and Sans Cyber Security Leader of the Year.

• Gram Ludlow

  Gram Ludlow is the Global Information Security Manager of AGCO Corporation, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment. Ludlow joined AGCO in March 2010 to build a global information security program. He is focused on protecting AGCO’s information assets through a combination of technical improvements, enhanced user training and improving business processes.

  Prior to AGCO, Ludlow worked at Caterpillar, Inc. as a Unix system administrator and local information security agent before joining their information security team where he took ownership of the global information security awareness program, covering more than 100,000 employees in 14 languages. He was later named the North American Information Security Offi cer, responsible for more than 35 security agents across the North America region.

  Ludlow graduated from Purdue University with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Information Security.

• Bob Madderra
  Director, Info. Security Mirant Corporation
  
  

  Bob Madderra is the Director of Information Security for Mirant Corporation, an electric power generator and energy marketer based in Atlanta. In this capacity, Bob oversees Mirant's Information Security program and initiatives at its power generation plants, corporate offices, datacenters, and trading floor facilities.

  In 1996, Bob joined startup "Southern Energy" (now known as Mirant) where, as Director of IT Infrastructure he oversaw the creation of a self-supporting enterprise-wide infrastructure that included domestic and international networks, telecommunications, system engineering and administration, network operations, and enterprise desktop support. This initial role included information security, which was later spun off from Infrastructure to create his current role.

  Bob Holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Auburn University, as well as a CISSP certification from (ISC)2 and GSEC from SANS/GIAC.

• Mark Reardon
  CISO, Georgia Technology Authority State of Georgia
  
  

  Mark Reardon has 32 years of experience in the IT field, including 16 years in information security strategy and management positions. Some of his previous roles include Director of Engineering for TruSecure Managed Security Services and Director of Security for S1 Corporation, where he supported the Security First Network Bank, first online bank. In other positions, Mark managed the development of data communications, encryption, and security products for the U.S. Department of Defense and the commercial marketplace.

  Since July 2005, Mark has served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Georgia, responsible for developing the overall information security strategy for the nation’s ninth largest state. His team develops the state’s information security policies and standards, oversees information risk management and security awareness programs, and establishes the standards governing information security architecture. Mark’s work supports the 88 agency level information security programs across Georgia’s state government.
