  Ian Campbell is the Chief Executive Officer of Nucleus Research where he is responsible for the company’s investigative research approach, product set and overall corporate direction. He is a recognized expert on the return on investment (ROI) and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis of technology and has written and presented extensively on a range of organizational topics. Campbell is the author of numerous studies on quantifying the value of technology, including the steps needed to achieve bottom-line benefits, and strategies for matching this technology to business organizational objectives. He is noted for his research identifying the human barriers to a successful technology deployment and the techniques that can be employed to maximize user acceptance of new technology. He is frequently quoted in trade and business press and has shared his expertise as a repeat guest lecturer at Stanford University, the University of California at Berkley and Babson College in Massachusetts.

  Prior to joining Nucleus Research, Campbell was the Vice President at International Data Corporation where he managed a portfolio of research programs in the US and Europe along with IDC’s ROI consulting practice. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Babson College.

  Barbra Cooper is group vice president and chief information officer for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc. She is responsible for the strategy, development and operation of all systems and technology that support TMS.

  With a career spanning over 30 years in information technology, Cooper joined Toyota in 1996 as vice president in information systems. Prior to that, she held the position of group vice president and chief information officer for MicroAge Corp., chief information officer for Maricopa County in Phoenix, Ariz., vice president of technology for American Express, and director of information systems for Miller & Paine department stores.

  Cooper was named by McGraw Hill Publishing as one of the Top 100 Women in Computing in 1996, a national honor recognizing women in the information services field who have achieved both technical expertise and advanced management positions. Additionally, she was honored as one of Computerworld's Premier IT Leaders in 2001. Cooper received the CIO 100 Award in 2005 from CIO Magazine. Ziff Davis' CIO Insight's ranked her sixth of the top 100 global CIOs in 2007 and CIO Magazine's Executive Council awarded her the Distinguished Member Award for Most Valuable Content for 2007. Cooper has also been recognized for her automotive industry achievements including three Automotive News awards for being in the 100 Leading Women in the automotive industry in 2000, 2005 and 2007. Cooper was recently inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame in 2007 for having strongly influenced the evolution of this young profession over the last decade and for expanding the strategic possibilities of information technology in the enterprise.

  Cooper earned a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Nebraska and attended the University of Oslo in Oslo, Norway graduate studies program. She is a member of the Society for Information Management, Organization of Women Executives, the Corporate Executive Board for Chief Information Officers, the UCLA IS Associate Program, the CIO Leadership Network and serves on the University of Nebraska J. D. Edwards Honors Program Corporate Advisory Board.

  Zeke Duge is the Senior Vice President and CIO for Smart and Final. A 135 year-old, NYSE-traded, warehouse grocery chain with 245 stores and sales over US$2Billion. Duge has over 35 years of experience in the IS field, and has worked for such companies as: Xerox, Tandem Computers, Nissan Motors, and Oracle Corporation.

  Previously Duge served as Vice President and CIO for West Marine Corporation, a retail/distribution company with Wholesale, Retail, Catalogue and Internet lines of business. Duge is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Masters of Computer Science degree from Madison University. He has been a member of the Governing Body of the UCLA Anderson School of Business and multiple advisory boards, including Microsoft, HP and Edgell Communications.

  Most recently Duge was recognized as "One of the 10 most influential CIOs" in the United States byRIS News. This award is the highest tribute given by the publication and is in addition to previous awards including: "2004 IT Leadership and Innovation – Most Innovative CIO" forExecutive Technology and in 2002 "Most Innovative User of Technology" forInformation Week.

  Under his direction Smart & Final has been recognized for three years running as one of theInformation Week 500, an award given for excellence in Information Technology.   Richard K. Jones brings over 25 years of Information Technology leadership, software development and infrastructure management to his role as Senior Managing Director and Chief Information Officer of Countrywide Financial Corporation. Countrywide (NYSE: CFC) is a diversified financial services company, and the nation's leading residential mortgage lender and servicer. In this position, Jones provides technical leadership for all technology and eBusiness initiatives at Countrywide.

  Jones has been Countrywide's CIO since 2000 and previously, since 1995, was EVP of Enterprise Architecture and eBusiness. In 2003, he was recognized by CitiBank /Salomon Smith Barney as CIO of the Year, and byComputerworld as one of the "Premier 100" IT leaders. Jones has been responsible for developing Countrywide's industry leading mortgage banking web sites and supporting infrastructure, in addition to its banking, insurance, and global mortgage banking systems.Information Week 500 ranked Countrywide IT in the top 50 innovative users of technology in 2001, 2003, and 2004.

  A strong leader, technologist, and systems architect, Jones employs a strategy he calls "Organic IT" to provide the agility, resilience and flexibility required in the development, implementation, and support of information systems that can quickly react to changing business requirements. His visionary leadership style puts strategy establishment, creation of alignment and empowerment of his management staff at its core.   Previously, he was the Chief Technical Officer at Technicolor, Inc. While with Technicolor, Jones led the development of a national direct video distribution network for Buena Vista Home Video (Disney) that enabled fully computerized distribution and return systems to retailers nationwide. Earlier, he served as President and CEO of Bethany Computer Systems, Inc., a seller of PC, communications, networking and accounting software technologies. He began his career with IBM Canada as a software engineer, and worked as a Senior Consulting Partner for JNL EFT Consulting, Inc., which provided financial networking solutions to clients such as the Royal Bank of Canada, the Bank of Montreal and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

  Jones serves on the Board of Directors of the Brain Cancer Genome Project (UCLA Oncology Department) and on the Board of Trustees of the Wellness Community. He is a native of Toronto, Canada and earned his Bachelor of Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.

• Todd Pierce

  Todd Pierce has more than 15 years of IT leadership experience from a broad range of industries, including commercial software products, health insurance, clinical care and government. As VP of Corporate IT, Todd Pierce manages Genentech's CIT group, including IT strategy, planning, application development, operations and networking. In addition, he chairs the company's IT Strategy Council. Pierce reports to David A. Ebersman, SVP and CFO. He joined Genentech in May 2002 as Senior Director, CIT Operations, and was promoted to the head of CIT in October 2002. While at Genentech, Pierce established a clear blueprint for CIT's mission, strategies, projects, and communication channels. He has also enhanced the company's IT systems by upgrading its corporate-wide email system; improving customer communications at the management, desktop and call center levels; and implementing a cellular data service network on all Genentech campuses. In addition, he helped form the IT Strategy Council, a cross-functional team of senior executives who coordinate and set direction for all of the company's IT activities.

  Prior to joining Genentech, Pierce was CIO and Director of Information Systems for the Santa Clara County Social Services Agency. Pierce holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from Austin College and a M.A. in Health Policy and Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

• Randy Pond

  As Senior Vice President of Operations, Processes, and Systems at Cisco Systems, Randy Pond oversees the organizations of Corporate Quality, Customer Service & Operational Systems, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal Affairs, and Worldwide Manufacturing. He also chairs the Business Process Operations Council and Business Oversight Board, two strategic executive councils within Cisco. To help fuel growth, drive innovation, and increase Cisco?s productivity, Pond is currently leading a comprehensive business transformation across Cisco by re-engineering business processes and investing in IT systems.

  Since joining Cisco in September 1993 as Director of Manufacturing Operations through the acquisition of Crescendo Communications, Pond has held various positions within the Worldwide Manufacturing organization with increasing responsibilities. In 1995, he was promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing with responsibility for all aspects of manufacturing operations, including new product introduction, planning, procurement, productions operations, and distribution and logistics. By January 2000, Pond had become Senior Vice President of West Coast and Asia operations, and over the next three years, assumed responsibility for all of Worldwide Manufacturing Operations, including product fulfillment and logistics.

  Pond’s key accomplishments at Cisco include the establishment of consistent business processes and operational metrics across the company, the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning in Cisco’s manufacturing operations, and the advancement of customer fulfillment as a strategic initiative.

  Prior to joining Cisco, Pond was Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Operations at Crescendo Communications. He has also held various finance and operations positions at Versatec, David Systems, Xerox Corporation, Schlumberger, and Arthur Andersen.

  Pond presides over the board of the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose as President, and serves as a board member for the Islamic Networks Group and the American Leadership Forum Silicon Valley. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Ball State University in Indiana.

  As Vice President, Finance and Enterprise Services, and General Manager of Information Technology Core Systems Engineering at Intel Corporation, Bill Sayles is responsible for managing the teams that engineer and deliver IT core infrastructure, application and data systems at Intel. These systems include core enterprise resource planning and office productivity capabilities, enterprise data warehouse, data and voice networks, enterprise server platforms, desktop and mobile platforms, operating systems, and security and manageability solutions.

  Sayles joined Intel in 1996 and has held a variety of roles, including General Manager of the Manageability Products Group, Director of IT Global Engineering, and Manager of the IT Internet Data Center. Before joining Intel, he held engineering and management positions at Mentor Graphics, Tektronix and Automatic Data Processing. Sayles received his Bachelor's degree from Portland State University.

  Tony Scott joined The Walt Disney Company as the new Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer in February 2005. Prior to joining Disney, Scott served as Chief Technology Officer, Information Systems and Services at General Motors Corporation, where he was responsible for defining the information technology computing and telecommunications strategy, architecture and standards across all of GM's businesses globally.

  Previously, he held the position of Vice President, Information Services at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led the transformation of their technology infrastructure organization to a shared services model and the development of a corporate infrastructure to support implementation of SAP and web-based technologies. Scott's professional experience has also included assignments at Marriott, Cadren Systems, Sun Microsystems and Price Waterhouse.

  Scott earned his Bachelor of Science, Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco and also holds a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Intellectual Property and International Law from Santa Clara University.

• Tom Shelman

  Thomas W. Shelman is President of Northrop Grumman Information Technology's Defense group, a business responsible for providing information technology and related services to the Department of Defense. The Defense group focuses on systems and services related to analysis, training, communications, IT infrastructure, logistics, mission support, computer simulation, and science and technology.

  Shelman previously was Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation. In this role, he led Northrop Grumman's IT strategy as the corporation grew from a $6B to a $30B operation. He standardized the systems infrastructure and consolidated systems to support the corporation's acquisition and integration activities. His successful execution of an integrated IT shared services model greatly reduced recurring IT costs for Northrop Grumman as a percentage of sales over time. Shelman's career includes leading several consecutive enterprise implementations, including a secure network and enterprise office collaboration. His financial accountability represented more than $1B in IT assets, processes and personnel.

  In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Shelman served as chairman of the e-Business Steering Group of the Aerospace Industries Association from 2001 to 2003. Shelman is also an active member of the Federal Government Leadership Forum, which is working to improve information sharing between the public and private sectors to protect our country from terrorist threats.

  Through Shelman's leadership, Northrop Grumman receivedCIO magazine's CIO 100 Award in 1997, 2002, 2003 and 2004. The company was named to theInformationWeek 500 for seven consecutive years, and also appeared in that publication's Top 100 Innovators list in 2005. Shelman was distinguished as Information Systems Executive of the Year for 2003 by the David D. Lattanze Center at Loyola College, Baltimore, a nationally recognized Center of Excellence dedicated to fostering management collaboration and excellence in business and information technology. In 2004, Shelman was selected as aComputerworld Premier 100 IT Leader and his Litton Industries integration initiative was amongComputerworld's 12 Best in Class. He received the American Business Award for Best Management Information Systems/IT Executive in 2006.

  Shelman serves on several business advisory boards that span the industry. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, Commerce, Texas.

  Rick Simmons serves as Chief Information Officer for Health Net, Inc. Health Net is among the nation's largest publicly traded managed health care companies. Simmons leads all technology functions for the company, including applications development, data center and network services. He has nearly 30 years of information technology experience in industries as diverse as health care, financial services, aerospace and telecommunications.

  Prior to joining Health Net in May 2002, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Concuity, Inc. (formerly eHealthContracts), where he led the development of the company's provider contracting software products and infrastructure services. He was previously Chief Technology Officer at WellPoint Health Networks Inc. and Vice President, Corporate Systems at California Federal Bank.

  Bob Suh is Accenture's Chief Technology Strategist and Global Managing Partner for Growth and Strategy. He is responsible for corporate strategy as well as setting the firm's technology strategy. Suh also leads the firm's global support to CIOs on technology consulting and outsourcing and leads the firm's research on High Performance IT, spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific across all major industries and reaching over 3,000 CIOs.

  Suh brings 20 years of experience in leading technology businesses, consulting to top management on information technology issues, and executing and managing large-scale corporate restructuring projects and turnarounds. He has worked for the chief executives of a number of Fortune 100 firms in major restructurings and has achieved substantial operating and shareholder returns in his work.

  Prior to joining Accenture, Suh was a Senior Officer at Perot Systems Corporation, reporting to Ross Perot, where he led the large deal group, was President of the systems integration business, and served as the business lead for M&A and investor relations. During his tenure at Perot, he worked on deals comprising a quarter of the firm's revenues and helped quintuple the firm's institutional investor holdings. Suh was also a Managing Partner and member of the executive committee at CSC Index where he was responsible for leading the global reengineering practice and managing the firm's headquarters office.

  Suh was named as one of the Top 25 Consultants in 2005 byConsulting Magazine. He serves on the advisory boards of Rho Capital and Memento Software. He holds a Bachelor's degree from USC and a Master's in Political Economy from Harvard University.

• David Walker

  David Walker is the CIO for Aera Energy LLC. Aera is one of California's largest oil and gas producers, accounting for approximately 30% of the state's production, and is jointly owned by Shell and ExxonMobil. Walker reports to the CEO. He joined Aera two months after the formation of the Company in 1997 and led the adoption of an Enterprise Architecture strategy and several tactical objectives to support the strategy and meet the company's information needs as it transformed itself from a collection of field offices to a cohesive and successful business entity.

  He began his IT career as a programmer for Barclays Bank in London and then moved to a successful 23 year career with Brown & Root, the Engineering and Construction division of Halliburton where he earned his Middle East and US experience. Prior to joining Aera, Walker was Brown & Root's Senior Manager of IT for the Europe and Africa regions.

  Walker has spent 34 years working in the IT industry and has experience in the U.K., the Middle East and North America. He holds a BS in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics at the University of London.
