• Michael Dreyer

  As Executive Vice President of the Technology Solutions division of Inovant, Michael L. Dreyer is responsible for the development and management of Visa’s global systems, the technology that powers the world’s leading payment network. Named to the position in July 2005, Dreyer is responsible for application planning, architecture and development in four core areas: Transaction Services, Access and Delivery, Information Services, and Program Management Office/Open Systems. Together, these technologies provide the foundation for Visa to process payments with unrivalled reliability and security, as well as support innovative new products and services.

  Previously, Dreyer served as Inovant’s Senior Vice President of Processing & Emerging Products, products and services that provide Visa with competitive differentiation in the marketplace. His responsibilities included Core/Transaction Processing Services, Risk & Back Office Services, Information Management, Shared Services, Channel Management, and Processing Solutions. Under his leadership and collaborative efforts, Visa successfully developed the information management solutions that have transformed Visa's transaction processing environment into a delivery channel for enhanced payment services.

  Prior to that position, as Senior Vice President of Commercial Solutions for Visa USA, Dreyer was responsible for product development and management for the large corporate, middle market, public sector, small business, and business-to-business e-commerce segments. This included overseeing many of the company’s core product lines for businesses: Visa Corporate, Visa Purchasing, Visa Commercial, Visa Business and Visa Fleet, along with the development of Visa Commerce. In addition, he oversaw the information management operation which supports the commercial product lines.

  Prior to joining Visa in 1998, he was Vice President, Electronic Commerce Center of Excellence for American Express Travel Related Services. While there, he was responsible for coordinating all smart card and Internet activity for several business units. Additionally, Dreyer has held senior positions at Prime Financial, Inc., Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Downey Savings, Bank of America and the Fairmont Hotel Management Company.

  Mr. Dreyer received a master degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and finance and a bachelor degree in psychology from Washington State University.

• Louie Ehrlich
  Chevron CIO & President, ITC
  
  

  Louis Ehrlich is President and Chief Information Officer of Information Technology for Chevron Corporation. In this capacity, he is responsible for setting and achieving Chevron's Information Technology strategy and providing information technology services worldwide. Chevron Information Technology is headquartered in San Ramon, California, with locations across the globe.

  A native of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Ehrlich earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1981, and a M.B.A. degree from Houston Baptist University in 1995.

  Ehrlich joined Chevron in 1981 as a Programmer Analyst in New Orleans, Louisiana. After serving in multiple technology positions of increasing scope and import, he was appointed Manager of Central Information Services for the Upstream Technology Company, supporting a global internal customer base.

  Subsequently, Ehrlich served Chevron in a variety of positions, including: Manager of Organization Renewal for the Upstream Technology Company, member of the Corporation's IT Vision Team, responsible for Chevron's Global Information Link (desktop/network standardization for improved enterprise information sharing), and Upstream Product and Service Manager for Chevron Information Technology Company.

  In 2000, he was named Chief Information Officer of Chevron's Downstream Marketing business. Upon the formation of the ChevronTexaco Corporation in 2001, Ehrlich was named Downstream Chief Information Officer and General Manager North America Products Company Information Technology.

  Ehrlich was appointed Chief Information Officer for Global Downstream in 2004, where he focused on enabling Chevron's strategy to achieve competitive advantage through proactive and strategic information technology investment, while delivering safe, reliable, secure and cost-effective services.

  In September 2006, Ehrlich was promoted to Vice President of Services and Strategy and Chief Information Officer for Chevron's Global Downstream operations which include: refining, supply and trading, lubricants, fuels marketing and convenience store retail operations. In that role, he was instrumental in defining, planning and executing Global Downstream's long-term strategic vision.

  Ehrlich is the Chairman of the CIO Executive Summit, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the CIO Executive Council. He is on the Advisory board of Lawrence Hall of Science, and sits on the Board of CIO Leadership Forum and the Advisory Council of the Research Board. He was the former chair of the General Committee on Information Management and Technology at API.

• John Hammergren
  Chairman, President and CEO McKesson Corporation
  
  

  John H. Hammergren is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of McKesson Corporation. He has been a director of McKesson since 1999 and was elected President and CEO in 2001 and Chairman in 2002. He has served as President of Supply Management and as Executive Vice President for the pharmaceutical, medical-surgical, pharmacy automation and pharmacy outsourcing businesses of the company. He joined McKesson in January 1996 to lead McKesson Health Systems, a business unit focused on the pharmaceutical supply management needs of healthcare institutions.

  Under Hammergren’s leadership, McKesson has emerged as the leading provider of supply, information and care management solutions designed to reduce the cost and improve the quality of healthcare. During his tenure, the company has doubled its revenues to $80B, tripled its earnings, expanded into new markets and advanced to no. 15 on the Fortune 500. It has also experienced a cultural transformation driven by the establishment of a set of core values, a commitment to continuous process improvement, and a collaborative approach to serving its customers.

  In 2004, Hammergren received the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Leadership Award for Global Integration and the Warren Bennis Award for Leadership. In addition, he has twice been named one of Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare. Hammergren is a member of the Hewlett Packard board of directors. In addition, he serves on the executive board of Verispan, a healthcare information company and McKesson joint venture.

  Prior to joining McKesson, Hammergren led the Medical-Surgical division of Kendall Healthcare Products Company, and held a series of general management positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation/American Hospital Supply Corporation and Fujisawa Healthcare between 1981 and 1991.

  Hammergren earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, and his Master’s from Xavier University in Cincinnati.

• John N. Johnson
  VP & CIO Intel Corporation
  
  

  John N. Johnson is Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Intel Corporation where he is responsible for Intel's Information Technology organization. Johnson has over 5,500 IT professionals spanning more than 50 countries. These professionals support and develop enterprise business applications, productivity solutions, engineering applications, manufacturing applications, voice and data networking, data centre operations, and custom information solutions to over 85,000 employees.

  Johnson has driven major initiatives at Intel that include Data Centre consolidation and virtualisation, an 85% mobile enabled workforce and initiatives that have returned 20% productivity improvements to the workforce. He continues to publish the IT Annual Performance Report for his organization and has completed a major reorganization to better leverage efficiencies, align with the business units and reduce bureaucracy. He is also the director of Intel's Corporate Emergency Operations Centre.

  Johnson joined Intel in 1981 and held technical positions in sales, marketing, and business development. In 1992, he became the director of Worldwide Technical Marketing, responsible for all applications, customer technical support, and influencer sales activities worldwide. He joined the IT organization in 1999 and in 2003 became a Vice President responsible for the IT Customer Services organization. He was appointed to the co-CIO position in February 2005 and became sole CIO in July of 2006.

  Johnson received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Inter-disciplinary Engineering from Purdue University in 1976.

• Tom Mendoza

  Tom Mendoza joined Network Appliance (NetApp) in 1994 and has served as its President since 2000. Mendoza has more than 31 years' experience as a high-tech executive and has served in an advisory capacity on the board of directors of Netscreen (acquired by Juniper), Rhapsody (acquired by Brocade) and currently serves on the board of Infoblox. He holds a BA in Economics from Notre Dame and is an alumnus of Stanford University's Executive Business Program and is a guest lecturer at both institutions. In September 2000, the University of Notre Dame renamed their business school the Mendoza College of Business based upon an endowment from Mendoza and his wife, Kathy.

  Mendoza has been the keynote speaker for such diverse companies as Oracle, Veritas, Fujitsu-Siemens, and the U.S. Marine Corps and often speaks about corporate culture and leadership for organizations all over the world.

• Todd Pierce

  Todd Pierce has more than 15 years of IT leadership experience from a broad range of industries, including commercial software products, health insurance, clinical care and government. As VP of Corporate IT, Todd Pierce manages Genentech's CIT group, including IT strategy, planning, application development, operations and networking. In addition, he chairs the company's IT Strategy Council. Pierce reports to David A. Ebersman, SVP and CFO. He joined Genentech in May 2002 as Senior Director, CIT Operations, and was promoted to the head of CIT in October 2002. While at Genentech, Pierce established a clear blueprint for CIT's mission, strategies, projects, and communication channels. He has also enhanced the company's IT systems by upgrading its corporate-wide email system; improving customer communications at the management, desktop and call center levels; and implementing a cellular data service network on all Genentech campuses. In addition, he helped form the IT Strategy Council, a cross-functional team of senior executives who coordinate and set direction for all of the company's IT activities.

  Prior to joining Genentech, Pierce was CIO and Director of Information Systems for the Santa Clara County Social Services Agency. Pierce holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from Austin College and a M.A. in Health Policy and Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

• Lars Rabbe

  Lars Rabbe joined Yahoo! in June 2003 as Chief Information Officer, responsible for the overall strategic direction and execution of Yahoo!'s global information technology infrastructure. Prior to joining the company, Rabbe served as senior vice president and CIO of Redback Networks, and held a variety of vice presidentand CIO positions within four divisions at Lucent Technologies.

  Reporting to Executive Vice President and CTO Farzad Nazem, Rabbe led Yahoo!'s information technology professionals, overseeing the company's corporate enterprise applications, internal corporate networks, billing and desktops. A seasoned IT executive with nearly 30 years of technology management experience in the financial services, retail and software/hardware sectors, Rabbe has held positions with Redback Networks, Lucent Technologies, Fidelity Investments and NeXT Computer, overseeing employees in 50 countries with budget responsibilities exceeding $1 billion.

  Rabbe holds both a M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

  Rabbe most recently has served as the CIO at Intuit and currently is consulting with various Fortune 1000 companies in the Bay Area

• Howard Schmidt
  US Cybersecurity Coordinator The White House
  
  

  Howard A. Schmidt has had a long distinguished career in defense, law enforcement and corporate security spanning almost 40 years. He has served as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Security Strategist for online auction giant eBay. He most recently served in the position of Chief Security Strategist for the US CERT Partners Program for the National Cyber Security Division, Department of Homeland Security. Schmidt retired from the White House after 31 years of public service in local and federal government. He was appointed by President Bush as the Vice Chair of the President’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Board and as the Special Adviser for Cyberspace Security for the White House in December 2001. He assumed the role as the Chair in January 2003 until his retirement in May 2003.

  Prior to the White House, Schmidt was chief security officer for Microsoft Corporation, where his duties included CISO, CSO and forming and directing the Trustworthy Computing Security Strategies Group. Before Microsoft, he was a supervisory special agent and director of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Computer Forensic Lab and Computer Crime and Information Warfare Division. While there, he established the first dedicated computer forensic lab in the government.

  Before AFOSI, Schmidt was with the FBI at the National Drug Intelligence Center,where he headed the Computer Exploitation Team. He is recognized as one of the pioneers in the field of computer forensics and computer evidence collection. Before working at the FBI, he was a city police officer from 1983 to 1994 forthe Chandler Police Department in Arizona.

  Schmidt served with the U.S. Air Force in various roles from 1967 to 1983, both in active duty and in the civil service. He had served in the Arizona Air National Guard from 1989 until 1998 when he transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves as a Special Agent, Criminal Investigation Division where he continues to serve. He has testified as an expert witness in federal and military courts in the areas of computer crime, computer forensics and Internet crime.

  Schmidt had also served as the international president of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and the first president of the Information Technology Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC). He is a former executive board member of the International Organization of Computer Evidence, and served as the co-chairman of the Federal Computer Investigations Committee. He is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Scientists. He serves as an advisory board member for the Technical Research Institute of the National White Collar Crime Center, and was a distinguished special lecturer at the University of New Haven, Conn., teaching a graduate certificate course in forensic computing.

  Schmidt served as an augmented member to the President’s Committee of Advisors on Science and Technology in the formation of an Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection. He has testified before congressional committees on computer security and cyber crime, and has been instrumental in the creation of public and private partnerships and information-sharing initiatives. He is regularly featured on CNN, CNBC, Fox TV as well as a number of local media outlets talking about cyber-security. He is a co-author of the Black Book on Corporate Security.

  Schmidt has been appointed to the Information Security Privacy Advisory Board (ISPAB) to advise the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Secretary of Commerce and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget on information security and privacy issues pertaining to Federal Government information systems, including thorough review of proposed standards and guidelines developed by NIST.

  He holds board positions on a number of corporate boards in both an advisory and director positions and recently has assumed the role as Chairman of the Board for Electronics Lifestyle Integration (ELI).

  Schmidt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Aministration (BSBA) and a Master’s degree in Oganizational Management (MAOM) from the University of Phoenix. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate degree in Humane Letters. Howard is an Adjunct Professor at GA Tech with the GTISC.

• Tony Scott

  Tony Scott joined The Walt Disney Company as the new Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer in February 2005. Prior to joining Disney, Scott served as Chief Technology Officer, Information Systems and Services at General Motors Corporation, where he was responsible for defining the information technology computing and telecommunications strategy, architecture and standards across all of GM's businesses globally.

  Previously, he held the position of Vice President, Information Services at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led the transformation of their technology infrastructure organization to a shared services model and the development of a corporate infrastructure to support implementation of SAP and web-based technologies. Scott's professional experience has also included assignments at Marriott, Cadren Systems, Sun Microsystems and Price Waterhouse.

  Scott earned his Bachelor of Science, Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco and also holds a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Intellectual Property and International Law from Santa Clara University.

• Randall Spratt

  Randall N. Spratt is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for McKesson Corporation. Spratt is responsible for McKesson's global technology strategy and technology infrastructure operations for the Corporation. A passionate executive with a strong emphasis on sound governance, good process, and constant innovation, he is leading the evolution of McKesson's information technology as a competitive edge in every business line.

  Spratt has been with McKesson for more than 20 years, most recently as Chief Process Officer for McKesson Provider Technologies (MPT), the company's medical software and services division based in Alpharetta, Georgia. He also managed MPT's Business Development, Information Technology, and Strategic Planning offices, as well as MPT's Technology Services business.

• Mike Wirth
  EVP, Global Downstream Chevron
  
  

  Michael K. Wirth is Executive Vice President for Global Downstream – a position he assumed in March 2006. He is responsible for directing the company’s worldwide refining, marketing, lubricants, supply and trading businesses.  Previously, Wirth served as president, Global Supply and Trading, responsible for leading the corporation’s worldwide supply and trading operations, as well asits aviation, marine and asphalt businesses.

  In October 2001, upon the merger of Chevron and Texaco, Wirth was named president, Marketing, for ChevronTexaco’s Asia/Middle East/Africa marketing business unit, based in Singapore. He also led the company’s refining and marketing business in that area on an interim basis prior to the Singapore assignment.

  Wirth was named general manager, Retail Marketing in 1999. In that capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of Chevron’s U.S. retail marketing, including sales, brand management, advertising, pricing, credit card operations, e-business, real estate and station construction. In August 2000, he was named president, Marketing, for Caltex Corp., based in Singapore. In that capacity, he was responsible for the company’s retail, wholesale and aviation fuels marketing businesses across Asia and Africa. He also served on the Board of Directors for Caltex Australia Ltd. and LG-Caltex in South Korea.

  A native of Golden, Colorado, Wirth graduated in 1982 from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.  Upon graduation, he began his career with Chevron as a design engineer in the corporate engineering department, and went on to serve in a variety of engineering, construction and operating positions of increasing responsibility, including that of manager of Chevron’s refinery in Portland, Oregon. In 1998, Wirth was named senior retail manager, Western Marketing, responsible for the company’s retail marketing sales, strategic network planning, trade class rationalization and real estate development across the western United States. He also managed growth opportunities through retail investors, company investment and alliances such as with McDonald’s.
