Recently appointed to the Board of Governors for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Conradt’s legacy in the basketball community has been defined by her passion for empowering her players to be leaders on the court and in all aspects of life. When she retired from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007, after more than 30 years as the head women’s basketball coach, Conradt had achieved the status of the second all-time winningest coach in men’s and women’s collegiate basketball. Central to Conradt’s approach to coaching and administration is her belief that building strong teams is the key to effective leadership.
