Established in 1968, the Society for Information Management (SIM) is the premier network for IT leaders comprised of nearly 4,000 members, including CIOs, senior IT executives, prominent academicians, consultants, and other IT leaders. SIM is a community of thought leaders who share experiences and rich intellectual capital that is applied, and who explore future IT direction.
Founded in 1977, Boston is the largest Chapter of SIM with a geographic area consisting of eastern and central Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island, with more than 500 members from more than 200 organizations. For more than 30 years Boston SIM has been the meeting place for information technology executives, leading IT consultants, academicians and senior business executives who play key roles in the use of information technology in their organizations.
